Excavate Research has been conducting numerous surveys on life during COVID19/Lockdown among the general population, doctors as well as police personnel. Below are some of the published results of our surveys

Our first survey was conducted in the initial days of Lockdown 1.0 in India among 1746 Indians from the age 18-65 in the 5 major metropolitan cities in India with the field duration of 4 days (March 27 to March 31).

 

It was focused around what kind of problems people are facing while working from and how they’re utilizing the extra time they have been given!

We conducted another survey at the end of Lockdown 1.0 gathering consensus among 2148 Indians from the age 18-65 in the 5 major metropolitan cities in India with the field duration of 6 days (April 11 to March 17).

 

A rise in daily stress among half the respondents was noticed due to the lockdown extension.

Taking a step ahead we conducted a survey among healthcare professionals (Doctors and Nurses) involved in the treatment of COVID19 patients to try and understand the difficulties they’re facing and to and give a voice to their opinions.

 

A total of 556 healthcare professionals participated in the survey and gave us a glimpse of the situation from ground zero.

Another league of “Corona Warriors” who were and are risking their lives everyday to keep us safe are Policemen who have not only played a key role to ensure the lockdowns were implemented effectively but were also vital in providing food and supplies to the poor.

 

A total of 1286 police professionals across the country participated in the survey and shared some interesting insights into their lives while serving during lockdown
